Young Adults Invited to Participate with 1,600 Participants at United Methodist Church of the Resurrection's Leadership Institute - October 8-9, 2009

Join more than 1,600 men and women from around the world as we explore what it means to lead the renewal of the church.

This year the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection has seen significant growth in the involvement of young adults in the ministries of the church. This year at their annual Leadership Institute, Senior Pastor Adam Hamilton will address several of the strategies and approaches which have helped them attract and engage young adults. Young adults from across the connection are encouraged to take 2 days to learn from one of the most exciting and innovative churches in United Methodism. Young adults (ages 25 and younger) have the opportunity to attend at the deeply discounted rate of $49 per participant (deadline for registration at this rate is September 5, 2009).

Activities and sessions are being planned where young adults will learn key leadership principles, grow in the understanding of the variety of ways you can be active leaders in the church, and gain inspiration that there is a future with hope for the local church. So whether you may be headed for ordained or lay ministry, or simply a life of service as a dedicated layperson, grab some friends and bring them along for this great networking and development opportunity!
